Monday 16th April

And so to our last week in Tenerife. The wind is blowing but the good news is having been delayed a couple of days we have now been lifted out of the water for a good scrub!

It was a tight gap to fit into and we had to do it at a pretty quick pace as the wind was so strong but it was not so bad as we reversed into the holding space. Once we managed to get the back stay off the rest of the lift was fairly straight forward and up she came!

Once out of the water and over the hard the marina guys got the high pressure hose out and started cleaning straight away. Although she’s dirty she’s not the worst we’ve seen here and the anti fouling is in good nick.

She’s spending the night in the sling on chocks and tomorrow we’ll be giving her a quick sand down and then it’s on with the new black anti fouling. Wednesday will be polishing day and then Thursday back in the water ready for delivery back to France!

Happy sailing!
